Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
All of the endpoints in this section have been completed with EPIWIN calculations. Current versions of EPIWIN, developed by Syracuse Research Corporation, have not been validated for estimating endpoints that contain metals in their molecular structure; therefore, estimated values derived from the EPIWIN models should be used with caution.
Additional information
Adsorption / desorption
USEPA. 2000 (PCKOCWIN Version 1.66).
Koc (calculated from structural features) = 1.014 x 10E+5 L/kg (corrected log Koc = 5.0062).
Distribution modelling
USEPA. 2000 (EPIWIN Version 3.12)
Default values were assumed for environmental compartment descriptions, dimensions, and properties, advective and dispersive properties.
Chemical physical properties (at 25 deg. C) used as model input parameters were: Molecular weight = 347.18 g/mol; Vapor pressure = 0.00195 mm Hg; log Kow = 5.07; and Henry's law constant = 0.00924 atm-m3/mol.
Half-lives were calculated by the model based on the properties of the test substance.
Air: half-life = 4.51 hr, emissions = 1000 kg/hr
Water: half-life = 208 hr, emissions = 1000 kg/hr
Soil: half-life = 416 hr, emissions = 1000 kg/hr
Sediment: half-life = 1870 hr, emissions = 0 kg/hr
Overall Persistence time = 287 hr
Other distribution data
USEPA. 2000 (EPIWIN Version 3.12)
Volatilization from surface water:
Half-life from model river = 2.019 hours
Half-life from model lake = 7.428 days
Default model parameters were used. Chemical-specific properties were: Molecular weight = 347.18 g/mol; Vapor pressure = 0.00195 mm Hg (user entered, preferred measured value); Water solubility = 0.0964 mg/L (user entered, preferred measured value); and Henry's Law constant = 0.00924 atm-m^3/mol (calculated from VP/WS).
