The Koc for UAX-1179 (CAS: 351197-46-1) was measured to be 1.7. This value indicates that the test substance UAX-1179 has a low potential to be adsorbed by organic carbon to soil. Calculated Henry's Law Constant (9.73E-015 Pa-m³/mole, HENRYWIN v3.20, Episuite) show that UAX-1179 has only a low volatility and will not evaporate from the water phase to the air. This is in line with the distribution modelling using Mackay Level I model. 99.6% of the test substance will therefore partition to the water, 0.0000456% to the air, 0.198% to the soil and 0.2% to the sediment. Thus, it can be assumed that the test substance when entered the aquatic environment will remain in the water phase.
