Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The substance is not expected to undergo significant degradation under environmental conditions. Less than 10% hydrolysis was observed in a 50°C screening study at pH 4, 7 or 9, and <11% of the substance degraded to CO2 in the ready biodegradability tests after 28 days. The substance has relatively low vapour pressure (560 Pa) and Henry’s Law constant (48.6 Pa-m3/mol) and therefore significant volatilization from soil surfaces or water is unlikely to occur. The substance poorly sorbs to soil (Koc: 50 L/kg). Fugacity modelling indicates that distribution of the substance if released into the environment would be restricted to soil and water. The substance has a low log Kow (1.83) and BCF (0.06) and therefore is not anticipated to accumulate in aquatic or terrestrial food chains.
