The performance of a hydrolysis as a function of pH test is scientifically not justified. REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, Annex VIII, Sect.9.2, Col. 2, states as follows: “ 9.2.2.1: The study does not need to be conducted if the substance is readily biodegradable, or highly insoluble in water. ”

Since the test substance is practically insoluble in water, testing of hydrolysis behaviour of the test substance is considered scientifically not justified.
