- Irritant / corrosive response data:
- animals showed beginning 1 hour after application severe erythema and edema. reddening was observed in a greater area than the application area. the skin was deeply fissured. crustification, eschar building and erythemas were not fully reversible. substance was classified as corrosive by the authors
Any other information on results incl. tables
The animals showed one hour following application pronounced to severe erythma and severe oedema. The treated skin was up to 72 hours small area brownish and large area whitish discoloured. Until the post-observation period the skin was roughed. Crustification, eschar formation and erythema were not fully reversibel.
