At the start of the test at 205 °C the test substance was a white powder. The colour of the test substance changed to brown at about 210 °C and to dark brown at about 240 °C. The test substance melted in the range of 213 to 240 °C. No further changes were observed until the end of the test at 245 °C. The test item decomposed before and during melting.
