Administrative data
First-aid measures
4.1. Description of first aid measures
General advice:
Take off all contaminated clothing immediately.Medical treatment is necessary if symptoms occur which are obviously caused by skin or eye contact with the product or by inhalation of its vapours.
Inhalation:
Move subject to fresh air and keep him calm. In case of discomfort: Supply with medical care.
Skin contact:
Wash off immediately with soap and water. If skin irritation occurs consult a physician.
Eye contact:
Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses if this can be easily done. Consult an ophthalmologist immediately if the symptoms persist.
Ingestion:
Call a physician immediately.
4.2. Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
sensitising effects, Risk of serious damage to eyes.
4.3. Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
5.1. Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media:
Water spray, foam, CO2, dry powder.
Unsuitable extinguishing media:
High volume water jet
5.2. Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
May be released in case of fire: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, organic products of decomposition and nitric oxides.
5.3. Advice for firefighters
In case of fire: wear a self contained respiratory apparatus
Fire residues should be disposed of in accordance with the regulations. Contaminated fire-extinguishing water must be disposed of in accordance with the regulations issued by the appropriate local authorities.
Accidental release measures
6.1. Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Assure sufficient ventilation.
Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.
Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking.
Use breathing appatus if exposed to vapors/dust/mist/aerosol.
Do not breathe vapours or spray mist.
Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling.
6.2. Environmental precautions
Do not allow to sink into ground water, sewers or into surface water.
6.3. Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
In case of larger quantities:
Use mechanical handling equipment.
Soak up small amounts with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust).
To be disposed of in compliance with existing regulations.

Handling and storage
7.1. Precautions for safe handling
Safe handling advice:
Keep container tightly closed. Ensure there is good room ventilation.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion:
In case of fire cool endangered containers with water. When heated above the flashpoint ignitible mixtures with air may be formed.
7.2. Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Requirements for storage areas and containers:
Keep containers tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place. Protect from the action of light. Fill the container by approximately 90 % only as oxygen (air) is required for stabilisation. With large storage containers make sure the oxygen (air) supply is sufficient to ensure stability. Keep only in the original container at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Can polymerize with intense heat release.

Protective measures:
Do not breathe vapours. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. When using do not eat, drink or smoke.
Ensure that eye flushing systems and safety showers are located close to the working place.
Hygiene measures:
Keep working clothes separately. Take off all contaminated clothing immediately. Follow the usual good standards of occupational hygiene. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before re-use. Cleanse and apply cream to skin after work.

The abovementioned hand protection is based on special knowledge of the chemical and the intended handling of this product, however, it still may not be suited for all workplaces. A qualified hazard assessment should be made prior to the onset of work in order to determine the suitability of gloves for specific working environments and processes.
Please observe the instructions regarding permeability and breakthrough time which are provided by the supplier of the gloves. Also take into consideration the specific local conditions under which the product is used, such as the danger of cuts, abrasion, and the contact time.
Gloves should be discarded and replaced if there is any indication of degradation or chemical breakthrough.

Polymerization with heat evolution may occur in the presence of radical forming substances (e.g. peroxides), reducing substances, and/or heavy metal ions.

Disposal considerations
13.1. Waste treatment methods
Product:
Waste is hazardous. It must be disposed of in accordance with the regulations after consultation of the competent local authorities and the
disposal company in a suitable and licensed facility.
Contaminated packaging:
Contaminated packaging should ideally be emptied; it can then be recycled after having been decontaminated.
Packaging that cannot be cleaned should be disposed of professionally.
Uncontaminated packaging may be taken for recycling.
