Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data

Endpoint:
adsorption / desorption: screening
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because the substance has a low octanol water partition coefficient and the adsorption potential of this substance is related to this parameter
the study does not need to be conducted because the substance and its relevant degradation products decompose rapidly
Justification for type of information:
According to REACH Regulation (Annex VIII, column 2) the study on adsorption/desorption does not need to be done if the n-octanol/water parition coefficient log Pow is low and the test item and its relevant degradation products were rapidly degraded. The available informations on log Pow (<<3) and biodegradation of a structural similar substance (biodegradation within the 10-day-window: 82.5 %) a soil sorption is not to be expected. Therefore a study on adsorption/desorption does not need to be performed.
