Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The test item is not a highly flammable solid.
Executive summary:

The flammability of lauroyl L-lysine was investigated in a study conducted according to EU Method A.10 (Flammability (Solids); 2008) and UN Manual of Tests and Criteria: Test N.1 (Test method for readily combustible solids; 2009). In the preliminary test, the test item could not be ignited by a flame, the test item showed a brief ignition without propargation and melted. Therefore the main test was not necessary to be performed. Based on the results, the test item is not a highly flammable solid in the sense of UN Manual of Test and Criteria, Method N.1 and of the European Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, Method A.10.
