Administrative data

First-aid measures

• General information: Immediately remove any clothing soiled by the product.

• After inhalation:

Remove from exposure and move to fresh air immediately.

If breathed in, move person into fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Consult a physician.

• After skin contact: Generally the product does not irritate the skin.

• After eye contact:

Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, lifting lower and upper eyelids occasionally.

Get medical attention immediately.

• After swallowing:

Rinse mouth with water.

If symptoms develops consult doctor.

• Information for doctor: Treat symptomatically and supportively.

Fire-fighting measures

• Suitable extinguishing agents: Water spray,chemical powder,foam.

• Special hazards caused by the substance, its products of combustion or resulting gases:

During heating or in case of fire poisonous gases are produced.

• Protective equipment: Wear fully protective suit.

Accidental release measures

• Person-related safety precautions:

Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and clothing.

Wear suitable protective clothing and gloves.

• Measures for environmental protection:

(a) Bunding, covering of drains: The drains should be properly covered to prevent the entry of spills into the

sewer or ground water.

(b) Capping procedures: Keep container tightly closed to prevent contamination.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Avoid contact with the eyes.

Always wash hands after use.

Do not eat, drink and smoke in work areas.

• Respiratory protection: Suitable respiratory protective device recommended.

The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to the product/ the substance/ the preparation.

Due to missing tests no recommendation to the glove material can be given for the product/ the preparation/ the chemical mixture.

Selection of the glove material on consideration of the penetration times, rates of diffusion and the degradation

The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of quality

and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.

• Penetration time of glove material

The exact break through time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be

observed.
