First-aid measures
4.1 Description of first aid measures:
In all cases of doubt, or when symptoms persist, seek medical attention.
4.1.1 In case of inhalation:
Remove victim to fresh. Seek medical advice if you feel unwell.
4.1.2 In case of skin contact:
Wash contaminated skin with soap and plenty of water. Remove/ take off contaminated clothing and shoes. Seek medical attention if the victim feels unwell or skin irritation / rash occur.
4.1.3 In case of eyes contact:
Rinse cautiously with running water for several minutes while holding eyelid(s) open so that all sites can be rinsed well. Seek medical attention if pain or irritation occurs.
4.1.4 In case of ingestion:
Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Seek medical attention if the victim feels unwell or any symptoms appear.
4.2 Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed:
Harmful if swallowed. Causes skin irritation. Causes serious eye irritation.
4.3 Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed:
Not available.
Fire-fighting measures
5.1 Extinguishing media:
Suitable extinguishing media:
Carbon dioxide, dry chemical, water fog or alcohol resistant. Foam is recommended for small fires. For large fires, use aqueous foam or water fog. Use water spray or fog to cool fire exposed containers.
Unsuitable extinguishing media:
Not available.
5.2 Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Fumes produced when heated to decomposition temperatures may contain carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide. Combustion products must be considered toxic.
5.3 Special fire fighting methods and special protective actions for fire-fighters:
Wear positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus during the attack phases of firefighting operations and during cleanup in enclosed or poorly ventilated areas immediately after a fire.
Accidental release measures
6.1 Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
6.1.1 For non-emergency personnel:
Remove ignition sources. Provide adequate ventilation. Avoid inhalation vapour. Avoid skin and eye contact. For personal protection see Section 8.
6.1.2 For emergency responders:
Wear an appropriate NIOSH/MSHA approved respirator if vapour is generated.
6.2 Environmental Precautions:
Avoid disposing into drainage/sewer system or directly into the aquatic
environment.
6.3 Methods for Containment and Cleaning up:
Absorb remaining residue with inert material and place into closed containers to await disposal; for large spills, use dykes made from inert material to avoid spread. Wash spill area with soap and water.
6.4 Reference to other sections:
See Section 7 for information on safe handling. See Section 8 for information on personal protection equipment. See Section 13 for information on disposal.
6.5 Additional information:
Not applicable.
Handling and storage
7.1 Precautions for safe handling:
7.1.1 Protective measures:
Never weigh out in the storage room. When using do not eat, drink or smoke. Do not breathe vapour. Handle in well ventilated areas. Eliminate all sources of ignition, and do not generate flames or sparks. Keep product and emptied container away from heat and sources of ignition. Confinement must be avoided. Avoid Incompatible materials (See Section 10).
7.1.2 Advice on general occupational hygiene:
Do not eat, drink and smoke in work areas. Wash hands after use. Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating areas.
7.2 Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Store in a dark, dry, cool, well ventilated location away from heat, sparks, flame and direct sunlight. Store in stainless steel, lined steel, glass or polyethylene containers. Do not eat, smoke or drink where the product is stored. Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The test substance is packaged in stainless steel containers.
7.3 Specific end use(s):
Not applicable.

Exposure controls / personal protection
8.1 Control parameters:
8.1.1 Occupational exposure limits:
Not available.
8.1.2 Additional exposure limits under the conditions of use:
Not available.
8.1.3 DNEL/DMEL and PNEC-Values:
Not available.
8.2 Exposure controls:
8.2.1Appropriate engineering controls:
Use of mechanical and overall/local exhaust ventilation is recommended to minimize airborne concentration as low as possible. If mechanical ventilation is used, electrical systems should confirm to national/ regional electrical code. Ensure good ventilation in order to prevent generation and accumulation of flammable liquid.
8.2.2 Individual protection measures, such as personal protective equipment:
Eye/face protection:
Wear chemical goggles or safety glasses if splashing mist is concerned.
Hand protection:
Wear rubber gloves when cleaning up working devices. Wash hands thoroughly before eating, drinking, smoking or using toilet facilities.
Body protection:
Wear impermeable work clothing.
Respiratory protection:
Wear self-contained breathing apparatus if generation of vapour or splashing mist is concerned.
Thermal hazards:
Wear suitable protective clothing to prevent heat.
8.2.3 Environmental exposure controls:
Avoid discharge into the environment. According to local regulations, Federal and official regulations.
Stability and reactivity
10.1 Reactivity:
The product reacts with oxidizers and may cause risks of explosion and fire.
10.2 Chemical stability:
Stable under normal conditions. The product is stable to alkaline but less stable to acid.
10.3 Possibility of hazardous reactions:
May form explosive peroxides in the presence of air or sunlight.
10.4 Conditions to avoid:
Incompatible materials. Overheating, heat, sparks, sunlight or open flame.
10.5 Incompatible materials:
Strong acids, strong oxidizers, nitric acid, hydrogen peroxide or hydrazine.
10.6 Hazardous decomposition products:
If overheated or in fire, decomposition products may contain carbon oxides and peroxides.
Disposal considerations
13.1 Waste treatment methods:
Due to the high risk of contamination recycling/recovery is not recommended. Waste disposal in accordance with regulations (most probably controlled incineration).
13.2 Product / Packaging disposal:
According to local regulations. Emptied container might retain product residues. Follow all warnings even after the container is emptied.
