Administrative data
First-aid measures
Skin contact: Take off all contaminated clothing immediately. Wash off immediately with plenty of water for at least 20 minutes. Consult a physician if necessary.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth with plenty of water. Call a physician immediately.
Inhalation: Take person to fresh air. Rest in half-sitting position. Consult a physician.
Fire-fighting measures
Toxic and irritating gases/fumes may be given off during burning or thermal decomposition. Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment. Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. This must not be discharged into drains.
In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Regular fire intervention clothes.
Accidental release measures
Environmental : Avoid subsoil penetration. Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. If the product contaminates rivers and lakes or drains inform respective authorities.
Methods for cleaning up: Collect spilled material with vacuum cleaner or sweep up. Collect the product in a plastic vessel. Carefully collect leftovers. Collect spilled product in another vessel and carry off as chemical waste.

Handling and storage
Storage: Prevent product from diffusing. Keep in a dry place. Keep container tightly closed. Keep container in a well-ventilated place. Store away from strong acids.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Technical measures to prevent exposure: Ensure adequate ventilation. The subsatnce is used only by trained professionals under restricted conditions in almost completely closed systems.
Repiratory protection: In case of heavy air pollution a dust mask P2 is to be worn.
Hand protection: Use chemical resistant gloves. See details on SDS
Eye protection: Safety glasses.
Body protection: Wear disposable overalls.
Personal protective equipment: Emplyees should wash their hands and face before eating, drinking or using tobacco products.
Stability and reactivity
Stability: stable under normal conditions of storage and use.
Hazardous reactions: reacts with acids.
Conditions to avoid: avoid generating airborne dust. avoid contact with acids. remove all chemicals and rinse the processing tanks thoroughly with water before using any cleansing products.
Hazardous decomposition products: Toxic and irritating gases/fumes may be given off during burning or thermal decomposition.
Disposal considerations
2. Empty containers: As the packaging can be contaminated with product residues, please obeserve the warnings of the label even when the container is empty.
For waste resulting from this product, it is recommended to use European Waste Code: 20 01 17 (photochemicals).
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: [611] Recovery by mechanical collection.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: [633] Neutralisation by water treatment.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Not applicable.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: The product is fully ionised in water. When sufficient
sulfate is present in the solution, barium, strontium and
lead will precipitate. The precipitate will be removed by
mechanical means.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - other: None.
