Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
Short-term toxicity to fish
The effect level is given based on the nominal loading rate of the test item Mo10V3TeNbO42. The threshold loading of the test item at the nominal loading 47.0 mg test item/L was found to have neither lethal nor non-lethal effects on zebrafish. LL0 > 47 mg/L.
Long-term toxicity to fish
The effect level is given based on the nominal loading rate of the test item Mo10V3TeNbO42.
Hatching rate NOEL = 114 mg/L, Surviving rate after hatching NOEL = 3.7 mg/L,
Length and weight EL10 > 37 mg/L.
Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates
Based on the nominal loading rate, respectively the calculated nominal loading rate (saturated solution with a loading of 100 mg test item/L) of the test item, the 48 hours-EL50 for Daphnia magna was 47.0 mg/L (Confidence limits: 22.1 – 97.2mg/L) for the test item Mo10V3TeNbO42.
Toxicity to aquatic algae
In this study, Mo10V3TeNbO42 was found to inhibit the growth of the freshwater green alga Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata after 72 hours with the following effect values (based on the nominal loading rate of the test item): The EL50-values for inhibition of growth rate (ErL50) and yield (EyL50) after 72 hours were > 100 mg/L and 73.4 mg/L (CI: 31.6 – 100 mg/L), respectively. The NOEL-values for both inhibition of growth rate and yield after 72 hours were 31.6 mg/L and 10.0 mg/L.
Toxicity to microorganisms
The NOEC of Mo10V3TeNbO42 for Total Respiration is 316 mg active ingredient/L (361 mg/L).
The EC10 for Total Respiration is 503 mg active ingredient/L (575 mg/L) and the EC50 is > 1000 mg active ingredient/L (> 1142 mg/L).
The NOEC for heterotrophic respiration is 100 mg active ingredient/L (114 mg/L).
The EC10 for heterotrophic respiration is 325 mg active ingredient/L (372 mg/L) and the EC50 is > 1000 mg active ingredient/L (> 1142 mg/L).
The NOEC for nitrification is 316 mg active ingredient/L (361 mg/L).
The EC10 for nitrification is 511 mg active ingredient/L (585 mg/L) and the EC50 is > 1000 mg active ingredient/L (> 1142 mg/L).
