Administrative data
First-aid measures
In case of inhalation;
Remove the casualty into fresh air and keep him immobile.
Seek medical treatment immediately
In case of respiratory standstill give artifical respiration by respirator and send for a doctor.
In case of skin contact
In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water.
Remove contaminated clothing immediately, even underwear and shoes.
Consult a physician if skin irritation persists.
In case of eye contact
In case of contact with eye rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
In case of ingestion
Induce the patient to vomit of his own accord only if fully conscious.
If swallowed seek medical advice immediately and show the doctor packing or label.
Physician's information / possible symptoms
Unconscious
Coughing
Headache
Gastroinetestinal complaints
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing material;
Foam
Dry fire-extinguishing substance
Carbon dioxide
Water spray jet
Exinguishing material that may not be used for safety reasons.
Full water jet.
Special exposure hazards arising from the substance, combustive products or resulting gases
Pyrolysis products of aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons.
In the events of fire the following can be released:
Nitrogen oxide (NOx)
Carbon monoxide (CO)
Carbon dioxide (CO2)
Special protective equipment for firefighters
Use breathing apparatus with independent air supply.
Wear full protective suit.
Do not inhale explosion and/or combustive gases.
Additional information
Cool containers at risk with water spray jet.
Inhalation of dangerous decomposition products may cause severe damages to health.
Keep people away and stay on the upwind side.
Fire residues and contaminated firefighting water must be disposed of in accordance with the local regulations
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions;
Ensure adequate ventillation.
Use personal protective clothing.
Use breathing apparatus if exposed to vapours/dust/aerosol.
Environmental precaution
Collect contaminated water/ firefighting water separately.
Do not discharge into the drains/ surface water/ groundwater.
Methods for cleaning up/ taking up
Send in suitable containers for recovery or disposal.
Take up with absorbent material(e.g. sand, sawdust, general-purpose binder, kieselguhr).
Take up mechanically and send for disposal.
Additional information
When gathering up and disposing of the substance/preparation wear personal protective gear.
Handling and storage
Advice on safe handling;
Ensure adequate ventilation, if necessary provide extraction at workplace.
Open and handle container with care.
Do not use for cleaning purposes.
Take the usal precaution when handling with chemicals.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion
Keep away from source of ignition - No smoking.
Vapors can form an explosive mixture with air.
Take precautionary measures against static discharges(earthing at pouring)
Pay attention to general rules of internal fire prevention.
Requirements for storage rooms and vessels
Ventilate store - room thoroughly
Keep only in original container.
Advice on storage compatibility
Do not store with acids, alkalines or combustible materials.
Do not store with oxidizing agents.
Further information on storage condition
Keep container tightly closed, store at cool and aired place, open and handle carefully.
Protect from light.
Protect from heat/overheating.
Avoid contact with peroxides or other free radical initiators.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Respiratory protection;
If ventilation insufficient, wear respiratory protection(the respirator which is capable of covering
the face fully with the filter for organic vapor).
Hand protection
Rubber gloves
Eye protection
Safety goggles with side protection.
Skin protection
Inpervious clothing to protect exposed body parts(suit protective against chemicals).
General protective measures
Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
Do not inhale vapor or mist.
Do not drink.
Hygiene measures
Clean skin thoroughly after working.
At work do not eat, drink, smoke or take drugs.
Wash soiled clothing immediately.
Stability and reactivity
Conditions to avoid;
Reactions with light.
Risk of polymerization.
Do not mix with other chemicals or purge with inert gas.
Materials to avoid
Reactions with catalysts, oxidising agents and strong alkalines.
Hazardous decomposition products
Cabon monoxide and carbon dioxide
Nitrous oxides(NOx)
Pyrolysis products, aromatic and aliphatic.
Additional information
if unstable product polymerization possible
Disposal considerations
Recommendations for the product;
In accordance with regulations for special waste, must be taken, after pre-treatment, to an authorised special waste incineration plant.
Recommendations for the packaging
Packaging that cannot be cleaned should be disposed of like the product.
