Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash immediately with soap and water
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention In all cases, remove contaminated
clothing immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
together with some soot. Suitable extinguishing agents are
water, foam, carbon dioxide and dry powder. Use a
self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
disposal by incineration. Goggles, gloves and a dust mask
should be worn.
Handling and storage
Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Avoid dust formation and
collection in the work area, use dust extraction and vacuum
cleaning equipment.
Storage: Store in a dry well ventilated place

Disposal considerations
recrystallisation
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Neutralisation of the hazardous effects is not possible.
[UK c.a.: The substance may be hydrolysed. However, the
hydrolysis products may be as hazardous as the substance].
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Disposal at a controlled landfill site (insulated to
prevent seepage) is possible
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Recommended method of disposal. Waste gas treatment to
remove nitrogen oxides should be used.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Small amounts of the substance may enter water treatment
plant where it will biodegrade. The substance may be
separated by filtration/sedimentation or by precipitation
or absorption on sludge.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance will not enter the public domain.
