Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Using the predictive fragment constant methodology software, PCKOCWIN, version 1.66, © 2000 US Environmental Protection Agency, the adsorption coefficient of the test material has been estimated to be log10 Koc 11.2. However, the exact proposed structure for the test material could not be inputted due to the constraints of the predictive software. As a further demonstration of the anticipated high affinity of the test material for soil and sludges, and to assess the effect of possible dissociation in the environment, the calculation was repeated for a single proposed ligand molecule. This resulted in a log10 Koc estimate of 5.2. The remaining iron component and the ammonium counter ion are both naturally occurring components in soils and therefore the concept of adsorption coefficient was not considered relevant.

Other adsorption coefficient indicated as dimensionless:

- other: Anion: log Koc ,11.1556

- other: Ligand: log Koc ,5.2037
