First-aid measures
First-aid measures after eye contact : Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. An immediate medical examination is required.
First-aid measures after skin contact : Wash immediately with plenty of water, for at least 15 minutes. An immediate medical examination is required.
First-aid measures after ingestion : DO NOT induce vomiting. Call immediately a POISON CENTER or doctor.
First-aid measures after inhalation : Assure fresh air breathing. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Do not give mouth-to-mouth resuscitation if the person has ingested or inhaled the substance; Induce artificial respiration with the aid of a medical breathing device. An immediate medical examination is required.
Note to doctors
Treat symptomatically
Fire-fighting measures
-Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media: Do not use a heavy water stream, which can propagate fire U
nsuitable extinguishing media for security reason: Do not use water
- Specific hazards arising from chemicals: Keep product and empty containers away from heat and sources of ignition.
-Specific hazards arising from the substance or the mixture: Thermal decomposition may cause release of irritating gases and vapors. Reactions to non-precious metals (aluminum, zinc) by evolution of hydrogen. Risk of explosion. Contaminated surfaces become extremely slippery.
-Risk related to chemical decomposition products: These products can be : oxides of nitrogen (NO, NO2, ...), oxides of sulfur (SO2, SO3, ...), Sodium oxides, Hydrogen.
-Protective equipment and precautions for firefighters: As in any fire, wear a MSHA / NIOSH (approved or equivalent) compressed air respirator and a full protective suit.
Accidental release measures
-Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Allow adequate ventilation. Use individual protective gear. Keep people away from the flow/leak aera and protect them from the wind. Evacuate the staff to safe place. Avoid dust formation.
-Environmental precautions
Avoid release to the environment.
-Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Sweep or aspirate into suitable containers for elimination. Avoid dust formation
Handling and storage
-Precaution for safe handling
Take precautions for handling fertilizers. Wear gloves and safety goggles. Do not get in eyes or on skin or on clothing. Do not ingest. Evacuate all soiled material from the store, as well as pallets and empty packaging. Prohibit all naked fire, as well as any work with heating or sparking without authorization. No smoking. Avoid dust formation. Do not inhale vapors/dust. Do not ingest.
-Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Store in accordance with local and national regulations. Store in a well-tempered, electrically and locked room. Provide good ventilation. Avoid storing the product in the sun or under conditions of sudden temperature changes, that may cause a degradation of the product.

Exposure controls / personal protection
-Control parameters:
Exposure limit values : This product as shipped does not contain any hazardous materials with exposure limit values established by local regulatory bodies.
Biological limit values : This product as shipped does not contain any hazardous materials with biological limit values established by local regulatory bodies.
-Individual protection measures, such as personal protective equipment:
Eye protection Eye protection must be used if there is a risk of exposure. Eye fountain, safety shower nearby.
Hand protection All the time during the use, wear chemical resistant, waterproof gloves.
Skin/body protection Avoid dermal/skin exposure. Wear safety shoes or boots
Respiratory protection Observe OSHA respirator standard 29CFR 1010.134. If necessary, always wear a respirator approved by the NIOSH.
-Hygiene measures Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice
Control of exposure related to the protection of environment: no data available
Stability and reactivity
-Reactivity: Reactions to non-precious metals (aluminum, zinc) by hydrogen release
-Chemical stability: Stable under normal storage and handling conditions (see section 7).
-Possibility of hazardous reactions
Hazardous polymerisation Hazardous polymerisation will not occur
Hazardous reactions Can react with metal and lead to formation of hydrogen gas flammable
- Conditions to avoid: Incompatible products, Excess heat. Avoid dust formation. Exposure to air.
-incompatible materials: Acids, Metals, Ammonium salts
-Hazardous decomposition products: Oxides of nitrogen (NO, NO2, ...), oxides of sulfur (SO2, SO3, ...), Sodium oxides, Hydrogen.
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods:
Waste from residues / unused products: Dispose of in accordance with local regulations
Contaminated packaging : Empty containers should be made available to local factory for recycling or disposal.
