Description of key information

Direct photolysis of C16-18 (evennumbered, C18 unsaturated) alkyl bis(2-hydroxyethyl) amine oxides in water will not occur, because they do not absorb UV radiation above 290 nm .Photo transformation in water is therefore assumed to be negligible.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
