guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 105 (Water Solubility)
GLP compliance:
no
Type of method:
column elution method
Water solubility:
< 0.02 mg/L
Temp.:

Preliminary test results

The solubility was low, in this instance more time was required to attempt dissolve the substance, the substance was left for 96 hours at 20 °C while being shaken in an incubator. Since the test substance had not dissolved after 96 hours it was considered insoluble.

The preliminary results showed that the solubility of the sample was less than 0.1 g/L.

Main test results

Below is a summary of the details of the final 5 samples taken at each flow rate. These were 5 consecutive samples below the limit of quantification so no further fractions were collected.

Description of key information

Water solubility: < 0.02 mg/L at 20 °C (OECD guideline 105, column elution method)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The water solubility of the test item is below the detection limit of the analytical method (0.02 mg/L) and hence appears insoluble in water.
