Administrative data
First-aid measures
First-aid measures after inhalation : Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. If experiencing respiratory
symptoms: Call a poison center or a doctor.
First-aid measures after skin contact : After contact with skin, take off immediately all contaminated clothing, and wash immediately.
with plenty of water and soap. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention.
First-aid measures after eye contact : In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
First-aid measures after ingestion : Do not induce vomiting because of corrosive effects. Rinse mouth. Get medical
advice/attention.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed : If exposed or if you feel unwell, call a doctor. Place the victim in the recovery position.
Fire-fighting measures
Fire hazard : Toxic and corrosive vapours are released.
Hazardous decomposition products in case of fire : Carbon oxides (CO, CO2). Brominated derivatives.
Precautionary measures fire : Exercise caution when fighting any chemical fire. Do not breathe fumes from fires or vapours
from decomposition. Evacuate area.
Firefighting instructions : Fight fire from safe distance and protected location. Use water spray or fog for cooling exposed
containers.
Protection during firefighting : Do not enter fire area without proper protective equipment, including respiratory protection.
Self-contained breathing apparatus.
Other information : Large amounts of the product should not be allowed to enter drains or water courses or be
deposited where it can affect ground or surface waters.
Accidental release measures
For non-emergency personnel - Emergency procedures : If a major spill occurs, all personnel should be immediately evacuated and the area ventilated.
For emergency responders - Protective equipment : Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye or face protection. Use self-contained breathing apparatus.
Environmental precautions : Dispose of at a licensed waste collection centre. Do not discharge into drains or the environment.
For containment : Soak up spills with inert solids, such as clay or diatomaceous earth as soon as possible. Contain the spilled material by bunding. Sweep or shovel spills into appropriate container for disposal.
Methods for cleaning up : Wash away remainder with plenty of water.
Other information : Use non-corrodable disposal containers.
Handling and storage
Additional hazards when processed : Vapour exhaust preferably at emission point.
Precautions for safe handling : Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Avoid all unnecessary exposure. Do not breathe gas, fumes, vapour or spray. Use personal protective equipment as required.
Hygiene measures : Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eating, drinking or smoking and when leaving work.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Technical measures : Provide local exhaust or general room ventilation to minimize vapour concentrations.
Storage conditions : Keep in a cool, well-ventilated place away from moisture.
Storage temperature : < 60 °C
Heat and ignition sources : Keep away from heat.
Special rules on packaging : Store in tightly closed containers.
Packaging materials : Corrosive resistant packaging materials.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Hand protection : Chemical resistant gloves (according to European standard NF EN 374 or equivalent). Nitrile rubber gloves
Eye protection : Wear tight fitting safety glasses or face shield. Emergency eye wash fountains should be available in the immediate vicinity of any potential exposure.
Skin and body protection : In case of repeated or prolonged exposure : Fully enclosed impervious protective suit with
integral or tight-fitting gloves, boots, self-contained or supplied air respirator must be worn
Respiratory protection : Provide good ventilation in process area to prevent formation of vapour. Where excessive vapour may result, wear approved mask. Gas mask with filter type A2B2.
Other information : Emergency safety showers should be available in the immediate vicinity of any potential exposure.
Stability and reactivity
Chemical stability : Stable under normal conditions of use.
Possibility of hazardous reactions : No additional information available
Conditions to avoid : high temperatures (> 130 °C).
Incompatible materials : Strong oxidizing agents. Strong acids. Halogenated compounds.
Hazardous decomposition products : Carbon oxides (CO, CO2), Brominated derivatives..
Disposal considerations
Regional legislation (waste) : Dispose in a safe manner in accordance with local/national regulations.
Waste treatment methods : Dispose of this material and its container at hazardous or special waste collection point. Do not
empty into drains.
