Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- Particles were found to be in the range 0.3 to 360 μm
- Executive summary:
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the particle size distribution of the test substance according to the guideline CIPAC MT 187. The size distribution of particles present in the test substance was assessed using particle size apparatus based on laser diffraction.
Test substance (100 mg) was transferred to a vial and mixed with distillate to prepare a smooth paste. The paste was then transferred to the sampling tank which was filled with light distillate as the dispersant. Two measurements were taken 20 seconds apart and the mean data was calculated. The test was performed in duplicate.
Particles were found to be in the range 0.3 to 360 μm.
