Administrative data
First-aid measures
Consult a physician.
After inhalation: Remove to fresh air. In case of sickness or symptoms appeared consult a
physician.
After skin contact: Take off contaminated clothing immediately, wash the skin with plenty of water and soap.
After eye contact: Flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.
Assure adequate flushing by separating the eyelids with fingers.
Consult a specialist for medical surveillance.
After swallowing: Wash out the mouth with water, drink copious amount of water (if conscious).
Consult with a physician immediately.
Do not induce vomiting.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed:
Not available.
Indication of any immediate medical
attention and special treatment needed:
No specific antidote.
Treat symptomatically and supportively.
Fire-fighting measures
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Do not use full waterjet when extinguishing.
Special hazards arising from the
substance or mixture:CO, CO2
Advice for firefighters: When extinguishing fires, use breathing apparatus with an independent source of air.
Fire hazard class Flammable solid
Fire and explosion hazard Highly flammable liquid. Vapours may form explosive mixtures with air.
Take precautionary measures against static electricity.
Accidental release measures
equipment and emergency procedures:
As a general rule, when handling avoid all contact and inhalation of dust, mists, and/or vapours associated with the material.
Environmental precautions: It is forbidden to pour into natural water or canal systems and communal
waste container.
Hinder substance from entering soil, sewers or living water.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
In case of spill adsorb the liquid in a nonflammable material (sand, soil, perlit) and collect in a suiltable container for disposal. Wash the effected area with water, and aerate. Wear full protective equipment.
Handling and storage
Keep away from sources of ignition. Electrostatic charge must be prevented.
Safety measures: Avoid ignition sources.
Fire and explosion protection
measures:
Flammable liquid. Vapours mixed with air may result explosive mixture.
Conditions for safe storage, including
any incompatibilities:
Keep container tightly closed in a dry and wellventilated place.
Store below 30°C.
