Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
LC50 of 2.07 mg/L was recorded for read-across molecule 2,6-dichloro-4-nitroaniline. According to this result, it should be classified as a Chronic 2 long-term aquatic hazard according to CLP regulation 1272/2008, however supplementary data from the Fish and Algae studies show the LC50 is below 1mg/L and therefore a classificaiton of Chronic 1 long-term aquatic hazard has been selected for the overall classification.

N,N,N-trimethyl-nitroanilinium chloride, which is using the molecule 2,6-dichloro-4-nitroaniline as a read across should therefore be classified as a Chronic 1 long-term aquatic hazard according to CLP regulation 1272/2008.
