Additional information

Barium bis(dihydrogen orthophosphate) is an inorganic phosphate and therefore a ready biodegradation test is not relevant. Within aquatic environment the substance preliminarily dissociates to barium ion and phosphate species. The barium cation and the phosphate anion have no potential mechanism for further hydrolysis.
