MOBILE PHASES
A stock solution of the reference substance at a concentration of approximately 1 g/L in methanol were used. The stock solution was diluted to obtain an end solution of 55/45 (v/v) methanol/0.01M buffer pH 5.5.
A 1000 mg/L stock solution of the test item was prepared in methanol. The stock solution was diluted to obtain an end solution of 55/45 (v/v) methanol/0.01M buffer pH 5.5. The final concentration of the test item solution was 50.0 mg/L.

REFERENCE SUBSTANCES
- Identity: Acetanilide

REPETITIONS
Reference substance and test item solutions were injected in duplicate. Blank solutions were analyzed by single injection.

Details on results (HPLC method):
UPLC-UV chromatograms of the test item solution and the corresponding blank are shown in Figure 6 and Figure 7, respectively. In the chromatogram of the test item solution, one peak with a retention time of 0.862 minutes was observed. Under the same analytical conditions, the retention time of acetanilide (log Koc = 1.26) was 0.902 minutes. It was concluded that the log Koc of test item was < 1.26 (Koc < 1.82 101).
Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
It was concluded that the log Koc of test item was < 1.26 (Koc < 1.82 * 10^1).
