Description of key information

LC50 (96h) on fish: > 0.1 - < 1 mg/l

EC50 (24h) on crustacea: > 100 mg/l

ErC50 (7d) on aquatic plants: 47.94 mg/l based on frond number

Additional information

According to the CLP Regulation (EC 1272/2008), classification for acute (short-term) aquatic hazard in category acute 1 is needed if:

LC50 (96h) for fish < 1 mg/l and/or

EC50 (48) for crustacea < 1 mg/l and/or

ErC50 (72 h, 96 h or 7d) for aquatic plants < 1 mg/l.

As for long-term aquatic hazard, when no adequate chronic toxicity data is available and the substance is not rapidlydegradable, classification in category chronic 1 is needed if:

LC50 (96h) for fish < 1 mg/l and/or

EC50 (48) for crustacea < 1 mg/l and/or

ErC50 (72 h, 96 h or 7d) for aquatic plants < 1 mg/l.

Based on available experimental data, test substance is classified in category acute 1 (H400) and category chronic 1 (H410).

M-factor acute and chronic is 1.
