Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
General information: Remove contaminated clothing immediately and dispose of safely. In case of persisting adverse effects, consult a physician. If the patient is likely to become unconscious, place and transport in stable sideways position.
After inhalation: Ensure supply of fresh air. Remove affected persons from dangerous area by observing suitable respiratory protection measures. Call a doctor immediately.
After skin contact: Wash off immediately with copious amounts of water.
After eye contact: Remove contact lenses. Rinse eye thoroughly under running water keeping eyelids wide open and protecting the unaffected eye (at least 10 to 15 minutes). Seek medical assistance.
After ingestion: rinse the mouth thoroughly with water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. induce the patient to vomit of his own accord only if fully conscious. Additionally administer medical charcoal (suspension of 1 tablespoon in one glass of water). Call a doctor immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray jet; Dry sand; Carbon dioxide.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: high power water jet
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture In the event of fire, the following can be released: arsenic oxide; toxic gases / vapours
Advice for firefighters: Use self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear protective clothing.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: For non-emergency personnel avoid dust development; Evacuate endangered area.
Environmental precautions: Do not discharge into the drains/surface waters/groundwater.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Take up mechanically. Send in suitable containers for recovery or disposal.
Handling and storage
Advice on safe handling: Use in closed systems recommended. Avoid absolutely dust formation and dust depositation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Risks inherent to handling the product must be minimised by applying the appropriate protective and preventive measures. working processes should -so far as possible, according to the state of the art- be designed to rule out bodily contact or the release of hazardous substances.
General protective and hygiene measures: Avoid contact with eyes and skin. At work do not eat, drink, smoke or take drugs. Remove contaminated clothing. After worktime and during work intervals the affected skin areas must be thoroughly cleaned.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Storage rooms must be properly ventilated. Keep container hermetically closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.
Incompatable products: Do not store with combustible materials. Do not store together with fire promoting substances. Do not store together with acids.

Stability and reactivity
Stable under recommended storage and handling conditions.
Dangerous reactions are not to be expected when handling product according to its intended use.
Conditions to avoid: heat, naked flames and other ignition sources.
Incompatible materials: to protect against moisture (air). water; acids
No hazardous decomposition products if stored and handled as prescribed.
Disposal considerations
Provide for recycling by the manufacturer or send to an authorised special waste facility or treatment facility adhering to the Special Waste Regulations. Generally, chemical residuals must be handled and disposed of as special waste. Please contact the competent authority that provides information for proper disposal, recycling or reclamation of the substance.
Residues must be removed from packaging and when emptied completetly disposed of in accordance with the regulations for waste removal. incompletely emptied packaging must be disposed of in the form of disposal specified by the regional disposer. Packaging that cannot be cleaned, should be disposed off as product waste.
