Results

Please see the illustration(picture/graph) section for the temperature/time curve.

Observations after the test

The test item had expanded forming a dome of brown material.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The test item has been determined not to have a relative self-ignition temperature below its melting temperature.
Executive summary:

Introduction

The study was conducted to determine the Self-Ignition temperature of the substance.  Testing was conducted using a procedure designed to be compatible with Method A16 Relative Self-Ignition Temperature for Solids of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008.

Method

The test item was heated in an oven and the relative self ignition temperature determined.

Results and Conclusion

During the test item expanded forming a dome of brown material. The test item has been determined not to have a relative self-ignition temperature below its melting temperature.
