Results with reference substance (positive control):
Test data have been confirmed by the reference substance (raw data).
Reported statistics and error estimates:
The EC 50 value was determined graphically from the relation between concentration and inhibition effect (semilogarithmic scale)

purity of the test substance not stated, test period of results not stated, results of reference substance not stated, no blank included

Validity criteria fulfilled:
no
Remarks:
no blank included, results of reference substance not stated, test period of results not stated
Conclusions:
An ASRI EC50 value of 245 mg/L was determined in a study conducted according to an appropriate test protocol, and in compliance with GLP.
Executive summary:

An activated sludge respiration inhibition test with Cyclacet has been performed, according to ISO 8192, which is similar to OECD TG 209. The sludge concentration was 6 g/l. The nominal test concentrations were 100, 180, 320, 560 and 1000 mg/l. A dose related increase in inhibition was seen from 26 to 88 mg/l. The 30min-EC50 and 30min-EC10 were found to be 245 and 53 mg/l respectively.

Endpoint:
