The ready biodegradability of the test item was investigated in the Manometric Respirometry Test for a period of 28 days according to OECD guideline 301 F.The test must be regarsded as not ready biodegradable.
Acetolon was slowly and partly removable under the conditions of a Zahn/Wellens-Test , but it was not inherently biodegradable in accordance to the definition of inherent biodegradability in the OECD guidelines for testing of chemicals. The DOC-removal rate was 47 %.
