Description of key information

The chronic toxicity of the test substance to Daphnia magna was determined in a semi-static study performed in accordance with the OECD 211 test guideline and GLP requirements.

The chemical analysis of test samples resulted in highly variable measured concentrations, and thus no clear test item concentrations could be calculated. Nevertheless, the results confirm that the organisms were exposed to the test item.

The 21 Day EC10 and EC50 of the test item for reproduction in D. magna were concluded to be greater than the highest tested concentration (10 mg/L nominal concentration) under the test conditions. The NOEC was also determined to be equal to or greater than the highest tested concentration. No relevant effects were detected up to the limit of solubility of the test item in the test medium.
