Additional information

A literature review was conducted. In a weight of evidence approach the literature values were evaluated. The Hommel Handbook of dangerous goods reports the flash point to be 101 °C at 1013.25 hPa. Furthermore the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics 88th Edition 2007-2008 reports the flash point to be 99°C at 1013.25 hPa In addition the GESTIS database reports the flash point to be 77 °C at 1013.25 hPa. All values are in the same range and therefore were regarded as reliable. A flash point of 101 °C was chosen as key value for chemical safety assessment as it was from the most reliable literature source.
