Additional information

Group of ten fish of the recommended size were exposed to a range of concentrations, nominly 25, 50 and 100 mg/l dissolved in water.

Auxiliaries used to prepare the test media were an ultrasonic bath, a magnetic stirrer and folded filters.

Observations were made on the numbers of dead fish and the incidence of sub-lethal effects after 2, 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours of exposure.

Results:

LC50 (24, 48, 72, 96h) > 100 mg/l

LC0 (96h) = 100 mg/l

All results are expressed in terms of nominal concentrations.

Water hardness = 11.6° dH (=207.1 mg/l CaCO3)
