Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
Additional information
No toxicity of Isodecyl methacrylate was observed in fish at a test concentration far above the water solubility. Despite the fact that the test was conducted in an emulsion test and therefor has to be considered as limited in validity from a technical point of view, it can be concluded that saturated solutions of the substance are non-toxic in short-term to fish. For more information please see the respective robust study summary of the study. In contrast, Algae and Daphnids show significant effects in diluted solutions with NOECs in the range of 10 – 100 µg/L.
