The results of the static method for the determination of the vapour pressure of the test substance are given in Table7.

The plot of the log PTof the test substance as function of the reciprocal temperatures shows a coefficient of correlation (r) of > 0.99. Interpolation of the curve to 20°C resulted in a vapour pressure of 84.9´103Pa = 637 mm Hg for the test substance.

Conclusions:
The static method was chosen for the determination of the vapour pressure of the reaction mass containing mainly 2-chloropropene.

The vapour pressure of the test substance at 20°C (293K) was 84.9  103 Pa = 637 mm Hg.
