- corresponding to 'no' in migrated source record.
Any other information on results incl. tables
Observation: The sample blackened and burned with a sustained flame which did not propagate along the sample train.
From the findings of the preliminary test where a rate of burning over 200 mm could not be estabished it was deemed unnecessary to perform the main test.
Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Interpretation of results:
- non flammable
- Remarks:
- Migrated information
- Conclusions:
- The test material was found not to be a readily combustible substance.
- Executive summary:
The flammability of the test material was investigated in a study which was conducted under GLP conditions and in accordance with the standadrised guideline UN Test N.1.
The test material failed to propagate combustion after two minutes of exposure to an air rich flame during the preliminary screening test. No further testing was required and the test material was determined not to be readily combustible.
