- Conclusions:
- The EC50 of FAT 40224/C was determined to be >1000 mg/L.
- Executive summary:
Acute toxicity of the test substance to Daphnia magna was determined in a immobilization test performed according to the OECD guideline 202. Ten animals per dose were placed in a static system and exposed for 24 h to 0, 62.5, 125, 500 or 1000 mg/L of test substance. During exposure, the animals were kept at 20 ± 2 °C with 16 h of illumination and all tests were run in duplicate. No significant effect on mobilisation was noted. The 24 h EC50 of FAT 40224/C was determined to be >1000 mg/L. This leads to the conclusion that FAT 40224 is considered to be nontoxic to daphnids.
