Additional information

L-alpha-methylbenzylamine (CAS 2627-86-3) was tested in a static acute toxicity test according to ASTM E279 -80 with Pimephales promelas as test organism. The 96 -h LC50 was 17 mg/L (nominal; Shell Oil Co., 1984 published in TSCATS,1992). The test concentration were not analytically verified, but are assumed to be stable over the test period.

Based on this test result the test substance is acutely harmful to fish.
