There is no information concerning aquatic toxicity of n-Decyl methacrylate available.
The results of the aquatic toxicity studies on the structurally closely related Isodecyl methacrylate (i-C10-Ester) are considered as representative for the aquatic toxicity of n-Decyl methacrylate (C10 -Ester).
No toxicity of Isodecyl methacrylate was observed in fish at a test concentration far above the water solubility. In contrast, Algae and Daphnids show significant effects in diluted solutions with NOECs in the range of 10 – 100 µg/L.
