BOD5 / COD results

Results with reference substance:
the degradation for reference substance (potassium hydrogen phthalate) on day 7, 14, 21 and 28 were 61.70, 79.15, 90.64 and 82.55%, respectively.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
not specified
Interpretation of results:
other: not readily biodegradable
Conclusions:
The Synoxyl HSS did not inhibit degradation of reference substance by more than 25% after 14 days, means no adverse effects of Synoxyl HSS on the inoculum. Therefore, Synoxyl HSS is not readily biodegradable.
