Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Treat symptomatically. Seek medical
attention if symptoms occur.
Emergency measure - Eyes: In case of contact with eyes, flush immediately with plenty
of water and seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15
minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Get medical
attention if symptoms occur.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water fog or spray, carbon dioxide, dry powder or foam
Product arising from burning: Oxides of carbon, nitrogen and sulfur and hydrogen chloride.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Hazchem Code 2Z
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Collect and place in a suitable container for disposal.
Avoid generating dust. Clean surface thoroughly to remove
residual contamination.
Handling and storage
Handling: Do not breathe dust. Avoid contact with eyes, skin,
clothing. Use with adequate ventilation. Wash thoroughly
after handling. Wear safety glasses with side shields or
goggles. Wear impervious gloves and protective clothing
appropriate for the risk of exposure. Use process
enclosures, local exhaust ventilation or other engineering
controls to maintain airborne concentrations to an
acceptable level.
Storage: Keep away from heat. Keep from contact with oxidizing
materials. Keep away from imcompatabile substances, such as
aluminium and strong agents. Keep container closed.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 5 kg quantites packed in black conductive liners (Velostat)
and in turn enclosed in foil bags inside fibre boxes.

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: It is not practical to recover or recycle the substance.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: It is not practical to neutralize the substance.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: A temperature of 1000 deg C is expected to be sufficient to
destroy the substance. Combustion will produce oxides of
nitrogen, oxides of sulfur and hydrogen chloride.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance will not enter the public domain.
