First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air, treat symptomatically. If symptoms
develop, seek medical advice.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush affected area with water. If symptoms develop, seek
medical advice.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting without medical advice. If
conscious, washout mouth and give water to drink. If
reflexive vomiting occurs, rinse mouth and repeat
administration of water. Get medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: This product would not be expected to burn unless all the
water is boiled away. The remaining organics may be
ignitable. Use extinguishing media appropriate for
surrounding fire.

Protective equipment: In case of fire, wear a full face positive-pressure self
contained breathing apparatus and protective suit.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS
Keep people away from and upwind of spill/leak. Restrict
access to the area until clean up operations are complete.
Approach spill site only when wearing appropriate personal
protective equipment. If safe to do so, stop or reduce any
leaks. Ventilate spill area if possible.
Wear standard protective clothing for example nitile or PVC
gauntlet gloves and chemical splash goggles. If significant
mists or aeroslos are generated a full face respirator with
an organic vapour cartridge with a dust/mist pre-filter or
supplied air be used. If respiratory protection is required
institute a complete respiratory protective program
including selection, fit testing, maintenance and
inspection.
METHODS FOR CLEANING UP
SMALL SPILLS: Soak up spill with absorbent material. Place
residues in a suitable, covered, properly labeled
container. Wash affected area.
LARGE SPILLS: Contain liquid using absorbent material, by
digging trenches or by diking. Reclaim into recovery or
salvage drums or tank truck for proper disposal.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS
Do not contaminate surface water, do not allow to enter
sewers or water courses. Immediately inform the appropriate
authorities. An water/oil emulsion may form on top of water.
Use absorbent pads to absorb. Dispose of all waste via an
approved contractor. The material is suitable for high
temperature incineration.
Handling and storage
Handling: Product Design - The polymer is sold in a water/oil
emulsion. Liquids are generally held to be easier to handle
than solids and result in a lower order of exposure
especially by the lungs.
Engineering Controls - The product is provided in sealed
storage containers, these are transferred by gravity, by
pump or compressed air to dedicated storage vessels. The
transfer operation is fully enclosed and generally utilises
a dedicated transfer hose to connect the transport container
to the storage container. Vapour/mist release is unlikely.
Transfer points are situated in well-ventilated areas. In
view of the low volatility and form of the product
concerned, local exhaust ventilation is not required. A
safety shower and eyewash station should be provided.
Personal Protective Equipment - Personal protective
equipment should be worn whilst handling this material

2.Chemical protective gloves made of nitrile or PVC which
conform to EN 374 class III
3.For spill clean up purposes only - A full face respirator
which conforms to EN 136 class 2 and a type A3P3 filter that
conforms to EN 141
Procedures - Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment including
full-length coveralls, gauntlet gloves and safety goggles.
Launder contaminated clothing before re-use. Do not take
internally. Do not breathe aerosols/mists. Ensure adequate
ventilation before you work with the product. Do not eat,
drink or smoke whilst handling this product. Wash hands
thoroughly after use. Keep containers closed when not in
use. Ensure all containers are labelled. Know the location
of emergency equipment including eyewash stations, showers
and isolation points.
Storage: Store in suitable labelled containers. Store the containers
tightly closed.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: One tonne IBC containers of polyethylene inner case with a
strengthening steel frame,
or 200 liter drums of steel or plasic (polyethylene) or 20
liter pails of polyethylene.
