Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
From the experimental data obtained, the quality criteria of the method (variation of log Pow
value ± 0.3 on the three different ratios) are confirmed.
Therefore, we can conclude that the affinity of the bromohexine hydrobromide sample for n-octanol
is higher than the affinity for water, as shown by the partition coefficient (n-octanol /
water) results, but also a strong dependence from the amount solvent ratios was observed.
Mean logPow = 0.60
