Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The adsorption coefficient log Koc of the test substance was estimated to be below 1.25 (lowest available reference value).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

An adsorption study was conducted by Mollandin (2012) according to OECD 121 and EC guideline C.19. The study was performed in compliance with GLP requirements. In the test the adsorption of the test substance NBPT on soil / sewage sludge was determined using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). Two different experiments were performed using seven reference items. Both experiments were performed at 25 °C and resulted in a log Koc of the test item below 1.25 (lowest available reference values). In the first and second experiment the log Koc extrapolated from the regression data was 0.5 (mean of three replicates) and 0.8 (mean of three replicates), respectively.
