Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The daphnia toxicity of Hydroxyambran was determined according to the OECD Test Guideline 202.

The main study was performed using 9 concentrations ranging from 293 - 3 µg/l. Twenty daphnia were exposed to each concentration of the test item for 48 hours. After 24 and 48 hours, the immobilised dahnia were counted.

Not any of the daphnia was immobilised in the control, the results of the tests with the reference substance show the ability of the test procedure.

The test article concentration was only analytically determined on the start of experiment in the highest concentration. All other concentrations are thenominal concentrations which are the calculated concentrations using the dilution factor and the measured concentration of the saturated stock solution.

The following results were determined for Hydroxyambran (species:Daphnia magna):

24h-NOEC = 52 µg/l

48h-NOEC = 29 µg/l

24h-EC50 = 116 µg/l

48h-EC50 = 78 µg/l
