Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures
Protect yourself and any casualty from further exposure during decontamination. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection.
Remove contaminated clothing.
Inhalation: Remove persons affected by vapour to fresh air. Keep patient at rest and give oxygen if breathing difficult. Apply artificial respiration if necessary (do not employ mouth-to-mouth method). Appropriate mechanical means should be used (Pneupac or bag and mask). Seek medical treatment.
Skin Contact: Wash affected skin with plenty of water. Seek medical treatment.
Eye Contact: Irrigate with eyewash solution or clean water, holding the eyelids apart, for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical treatment.
Ingestion: If swallowed, rinse mouth with water (only if the person is conscious). Do not induce vomiting. Keep patient at rest. Seek medical treatment.
Other: May cause irritation to skin, eyes and respiratory system. Seek medical treatment when anyone has symptoms apparently due to swallowing, inhalation or contact with skin or eyes.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media: Water spray, foam, dry powder or CO2. Water spray should be used to cool containers.
Advice for Firfighters: A self contained breathing apparatus and suitable protective clothing should be worn in fire conditions. Prevent substance entering sewers.
Accidental release measures
Ensure suitable personal protection (including respiratory protection) during removal of spillages.
Avoid release to the environment. Prevent liquid entering watercourses and sewers.
Eliminate sources of ignition. Evacuate area. Use only non-sparking tools. Provided it is safe to do so, isolate the source of the leak. Contain and adsorb large spillages onto an inert, non flammable adsorbent carrier. Transfer to a container for disposal.
Handling and storage
Use only in well-ventilated areas. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Use non-sparking hand tools and explosion proof electrical equipment.Keep away from sources of ignition. Take precautionary measures against static discharge. Wear suitable protective clothing.
Keep container tightly closed, in a cool, well ventilated place. Keep container dry. Keep containers properly sealed when not in use.
Keep in a cool place.
Keep only in original container.

Exposure controls / personal protection
1. Technical protection measures
2. Organisational protection measures: Stated in company Quality, Environment and safety Management System
3. Hand protection : Neoprene gloves.
4. Feet protection: Safety boots.
5. Body protection: Chemical protection suit.
6. Eye protection: Goggles

Stability and reactivity
Stable under normal conditions.
Protect from light.
Keep away from heat and sources of ignition.
Do not mix with acids, bases, oxidizing and reducing agents.
Disposal considerations
Dispose of this material and its container to hazardous or special waste collection point. Disposal may be carried out by diluting the waste with a suitable solvent and burning under controlled conditions at a licensed waste material processor; stack gases will need to be scrubbed (See Section 5 above).
Disposal should be in accordance with local, state or national legislation.
