Endpoint:
vapour pressure
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because the melting point is above 300°C

Description of key information

In accordance with the Column 2 adaptation of Annex VII of Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 (REACH), it is considered justified to omit the vapour pressure study (required under point 7.5) as the substance is considered to have a melting point >300 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0 Pa
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

In order to allow the CHESAR software to function correctly, a surrogate value of 1.0 x 10^-9 has been recorded as the Key value for chemical safety assessment. This value is the lowest value recommended for use with the EUSES model within the CHESAR programme.
