Executive summary:

The test item dermosoft decalact was analyzed for water solubility according to OECD 105/ EU A.6.

Results:

Water solubility of the test substance at 20°C is 0.12 g/L.

Annotation:

pH value of the sample solutions was 4.4 (4.3,4.4) after 24h (48h, 72h) of incubation. Water solubility was determined at 20°C.

Description of key information

The substance is moderately water soluble: 0.12g/L at 20 °C (flask method, OECD 105)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Water solubility:
0.12 g/L
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

The concentrations of the different test solutions were calculated automatically using the equation of the calibration curve and considering the dilution factors of the test solutions. The test was performed at 20 °C. Measurement was performed after 24 h, 48 h and 72 h of incubation.

Standard deviation of the HPLC (ESI-MS) chromatography was 4.23 mg/L which is in compliance with deviations one can expect by using LC method for the determination of a UVCB substance.
