Additional information

One study investigated the short-term toxicity of the test substance Y-15866 to aquatic invertebrates. The study was performed according to OECD 202 with Daphnia magna, exposed to a water accommodated fraction (WAF) with a loading rate of nominal 139 mg/L (corresponding to 100 mg/L corrected for the impurities of the test item) under semi-static conditions (Weber, 2011). Substance specific analysis of the test item in the test medium was not possible (see IUCLID section 6.6 for further information). Instead, the total organic carbon (TOC) was measured as the sum parameter of the components of the test item to demonstrate the presence of the test item in the test medium. The substance is hydrolytically unstable. Therefore, this study also reflects the possible effects of the hydrolysis products. No mortality and no signs of intoxication were observed after 48 h. Therefore, this study resulted in an EL50 of > 139 mg/L. The NOELR was derived to be >= 139 mg/L.
