- PREPARATION AND APPLICATION OF TEST SOLUTION (especially for difficult test substances)
- Method: 0.0501 g test item was weighed and dissolved in 500 mL of test water by magnetic stirring for about 4 hours. After the test item was dissolved completely, the solution of 100 mg/L was used to dilute the test solutions. Pipette 10.0, 18.0, 31.5, 56.5 and 100 mL of the solution of 100 mg/L and make up to 500 mL with test water. - During the 48-hour exposure period, no immobilization and abnormal behavior or appearance was observed in the control group and the test group of 2.0 mg/L, the daphnids exposed to 3.6, 6.3, 11.3 and 20 mg/L test groups showed abnormal behavior such as immobilization, 100% inhibition occurred in 20 mg/L test group after 48 hours.
